Devon Falls

The Devon Falls, named after an English coffee planter, is a remarkable sight to behold in Sri Lanka’s tea country, as it gently drops off from the mountains near Talawakele. With its 97-meter fall hidden behind tea gardens and forested slopes, the falls is most impressive from roadside viewpoints that provide stunning views of the valley below.

A stunning waterfall called the ‘Veil of the Valley’, also known as Devon Falls, is flanked by rolling tea-covered hills. It measures 97 meters in height. Its colonial past and proximity to other scenic locations, such as St. Clair’s Falls is a must-see attraction in any hill country adventure. The scenic location and easy accessibility make it a great option for exploring Sri Lanka’s tea heritage and sightseeing.
